Something I really need to stop doing is assuming that when I wake up in (more) pain (than usual) that it means my entire day is a waste. I've definitely had high-productivity pain days before, so I shouldn't count myself out before I've even tried.

Decent amount of work done in Ren'Py today. Plugged in two of the animations (yes, this insane project has more than one...), a bunch of the new sprites, did some fun movement and transition stuff. Solidly 80%~ done overall. Jan release here we come!

Some shuffling around of priorities today, trying to get a solid understanding of what I should direct my brain at re:Metacosm going forward. I think it's starting to become clearer. 2026 will hopefully be a year of progress, after 2025 made me reevaluate everything.

Put some more effort toward finalizing the Nemesis visual novel today. No actual coding yet but scrounged up some refs (which I'll hopefully do the actual art tomorrow) and edited the script a bit. Every little bit gets me closer! Really hoping for a Jan finish, but we'll see lol.
