Eight years in to raising a neurotypical child (whatever that means 🤷‍♀️) and one observation is how different the frequency of communication with school is. Child 1: 1 x parents eve per term Child 2: 4-5 messages back and forth per day + phone calls Child 3: 1 x parents eve per year (which I missed!)

Both "humility" and "humanity" come from the same Latin word: humus. Which means "earth" or "ground." It's a beautiful reminder that humility--as painful as it can be--is simply restoring us to what we truly are. Human. Limited. Created. Not God.
