Remembering my biggest problem with KH3’s story is how backloaded it is and how fast it moves. Like the Disney worlds are filler then once you finish the last one, its cutscenes and a very long bossrush until the end of the game. KH2 spread it out so you get breaks in between major story beats

The Kingdom Hearts 3 version of the Pirates of the Caribbean really is so gorgeous and one of the best worlds in the series with its island exploration and ship combat. Much improved over the KH2 version which is one of the most annoying parts of a Critical playthrough

The Pirates of the Caribbean world was much improved over Port Royal in KH2 and I loved how its just Assassin’s Creed Black Flag ship combat in a mini Caribbean

You’re not going to pull ball and gun gamers off their main game like CoD, Rivals, Fortnite etc. unless your game is something special. While I think Marathon looks absolutely gorgeous, it clearly didn’t have that special something to create a solid player base like Arc Raiders did.

I love Kingdom Hearts but it does have its “i hope nobody walks in and sees me playing this right now” moments. Atlantica in KH2, Frozen in 3…and then there’s this…one thing that I really hope doesn’t come back in KH4 because its always the worst part of the game

Man the combat in KH3 is night and day what from I remember from launch. I think the biggest thing is playing on Critical mode and Critical Converter guaranteeing a formchange while also turning off Attraction Flow which just ruined the pacing of fights. Critical is the best way to play KH2 and KH3.

Ya know what I want to see in Kingdom Hearts 4. Better space. Gummi missions were always a meh part, but KH3 went a different direction with the open space areas with some collectables, but it just feels underutilized. Idk maybe waystations could be areas to land with side quests or minibosses?

Kingdom Hearts 3 Critical Mode update: Finished Tangled world and not really struggling at all since the opening of the game thankfully. I don't remember if there were any annoying sections in later worlds since I haven't played this since release. KH2 Critical early game is so much harder
