So I'm in New Orleans for the weekend and keep seeing National Guard walking around. I've made 3 observations: 1. They're always in groups of three. 2. They all seem pretty young (like, in their mid-20's) 3. They always look bored as hell. Feels like a gross waste of taxpayer money...

The most aggravating thing about this Verizon (and any) service outage is how few compensate the customer for the inconvenience. GFiber automatically credits my account anytime there's an outage, but I've been without VZW now for like 7 hours and I probably won't get squat.
