Treated myself to a Christmas present and ordered a little MIDI controller keyboard. 25 full-sized keys, some pads, knobs(!), works with bluetooth (if that's fast enough). Excited to have some hardware.

And i met cEvin during the day of a Download show that never happened. (The stage was too small for their equipment so they had to cancel. I met them all down the street, where their bus was parked at a laundromat. cEvin was doing his laundry. Mark Spybey was pacing, ranting about the cancellation.)

Even with less obs-Cure stuff... I was in Chicago to see Download, who had to cancel their show. But i met cEvin Key (doing his laundry) and Mark Spybey, and picked up a used copy of The Cure's "Wish" (which instantly became my favorite album of theirs), and met Chris Connelly at the shop.
