Ngl, there were quite a few events I was looking forward to participating in this year, but I either was rejected, couldn't submit, or had to drop out of. It really has done a lot of damage to my self-esteem and sense of self-worth. I'm also just...dealing with a lot of mental burnout atm.

No stream tonight. Putting a bookshelf together yesterday really took a lot out of me, so, I'm just going to listen to my body and rest up.

Taking today off of streaming. Feeling really sore and need to rest. Will hopefully be back tomorrow or Tuesday and will be starting my Shadow Generations playthrough.

I'm going to be real here, I've been trying way too hard to force myself to stream, and I think my anxiety over it is my brain's way of saying "you're not ready".

This is a PSA for all content creators: Please, please, PLEASE add a content warning on anything that can be triggering for people. It doesn't matter what it is. That's not to say it's ever the creator's fault for causing a reaction in someone, but it just helps to have that warning.

I could have streamed yesterday. I had the motivation and the energy. Then I ended up getting distracted by other things and it ended up being too late. I also just keep chickening out when I wanna hit that "Go Live" button. It's like my hand gets frozen, shaking from anxiety.

I could use some advice/encouraging to get past this stage fright I'm feeling about auditioning for Host Position for marathons. I REALLY want to get myself out there more but for some reason, despite being able to do marathon run commentary, hosting is more intimidating.

This is why it's been a mega struggle to even do streams...even though I have so many different ideas in my head. It's also embarrassing to be promoting my stream on marathons but have my Twitch page be blank, empty, or have a stream VOD that's 3 months old.
