It’s been a difficult week for OASiS staff and students. So in addition to our scheduled programming on “Personal Branding” we made time to share our feelings about the future of the scientific landscape while indulging in delicious doughnuts from Taylor’s.

Our four NIH TWD training grants (Bridge, MARC, PREP and IRACDA) support dozens of early career scientists to prepare them for the next step in their scientific journey. These programs help ensure a strong workforce in biomedical research.

If you planning to apply to graduate school in biology or related fields - but want a gap year to gain more research experience - KU offers two post-baccalaureate programs: NIH funded PREP and NSF RaMP (BioGEM). Both can be found on our website oasisstem.ku.edu - Priority deadline March 1.
