"I came to look for you! Nobody had seen you, and then Max strolls out onto the pitch all smug, saying he'd finally dealt with 'a little bird' and I assumed the worst." Aiden's ears flatten, and he nuzzles against Richie's chest. "I'm sorry, blame the guardian in me."

Aiden nibbles gently at Richie's hair before making biscuits on him, content to cuddle in and act like a heated blanket while Richie games.

Aiden looks simultaneously impressed that Richie caught on so quickly and concerned that he's already experienced her wrath. "A little further ahead, there's a campsite. "You can keep your monologue private if that's your desire," Aiden states with a gentle smile, "but I'd just like to warn you that it's not safe here. Chastity is valued above all else in these parts, and so much as a rogue thought could get you killed."

He doesn't usually show himself to humans, but someone in a vulnerable state can't be ignored. Cautiously, Aiden pads over, gentle brown eyes shimmering softly as he examines the injury.

As the teen murmured to himself, Aiden padded through the forest, ears curiously perked. He heard a crunch nearby, his nose starting to twitch anxiously. This neck of the woods wasn't safe for... anyone, really, but especially not teenage humans. "Excuse me?" he asked softly, approaching Richie.

The rabbit sighs, buries his face in his paws, then puts the phone down and gives up. Not today.

"The... ah?" Confusedly, Aiden tips his head. He doesn't recognise the unfamiliar name. Luckily, the latter question gets him back on track. "I suspect the evil is killing. Spilled blood makes it stronger."

The temptation to check Richie for any traces of blue poison comes on strong, because his behaviour is disturbingly reading like the influence of Tinky. "I mean, which persona are you using right now? You're Richie the trivia master, the team mascot, the anime expert; so what's your current face?"

Cue a soft squeak as the angel startles and falls off his toadstool— He picks himself up a moment later, nose twitching gently. "Which Richie might you be, then?"

It's a beautiful day of nobody harassing him. No Wiggly, no myriad of dead Richies, just the Hatchetfield summer breeze and a sweet scent of flowers in the air.

"If not even this can ease Wiggly's wrath, we may be in more trouble than I thought..."

"I'd greatly appreciate your help, but my origin location isn't important. I need to find the evil in Hatchetfield." Aiden lifts his nose to the air and sniffs delicately. "It's getting stronger."

"The world has changed a lot since I was last here, I can't honestly say where the event took place, but I know I was drawn to Hatchetfield specifically." Aiden withdraws his paw, offering a small smile. "My name even means little fire."

Sleepily chewing at a pillow.

"A little fuzzy, but I think I'm okay?" Aiden peers at his wounded side, which is now behaving itself and allowing the bandages to stay pristine and white. "Thank you, Richie. I'm not immortal anymore, so I would've been history without your aid."

"Black Friday is getting closer. Here we go again..."

The rabbit stirs slowly, nose beginning to twitch as he awakens. He opens his eyes, then sits up carefully, ears perking until they're upright. "Mmn..."

"Do what you need to." Aiden closes his eyes, his tail flicking gently. "There's no need to panic so much. I may no longer be a legend but even animals who've been struck by vehicles can recover. Trust in yourself, we're both tougher than we look."

Aiden peers down at the wound, which seems to bleed through the dressing at alarming speed. "Ah. I may not be able to heal if the bullet is still inside..." He exhales softly, ears lowering. "Do you have any way to remove it? Tweezers, perhaps? Not a magnet, that would be risky."

"Hatchetfield has a moon, why not in Hatchetfield? Your town needs protecting more than most." Aiden stretches lightly, then winces as the wound tugs and fresh blood soaks his fur. "Yes. I'm the moon rabbit, the Gyokuto of legend. I used to live with Koroko and Kirin, but they're... gone now."

"Someone shot me," Aiden responds softly. "A man calling himself a professor. He claimed I was a danger to Hatchetfield, but I'm really not. You see, my kind used to live here en masse until the professor bought the land we lived on." He puts the glass down carefully, ears flicking. "I'm a »

"How do I..." Aiden tips the glass, nearly pouring water on himself, then balances it and laps at the flow as he understands the item. "Ohhh. I've never drank from a glass before. Where I'm from, the lake is just an open body of water. Humans store this water in glasses for easier consumption?"

Aiden paws confusedly at the painkillers, then eyes the bandages with equal perplexity. "How do I put this in a way that won't freak you out..." He seems to understand the concept of water, but gets his muzzle in the glass and can't reach the contents. "What kind of river or lake is this?"

"I'm not a *giant* rabbit. Though I suppose in comparison..." The rabbit lifts a hind foot and delicately scratches behind his ear, then lowers it again. "My name isn't really pronounceable by the human tongue, but the translation can be shortened to Aiden. Nice to meet you, Richie."
