As we approached LGBT+ Labourās 50th anniversary, Iām not sure we expected to have such a venue to host a celebration! Thanks to the PM for popping up to cut the cake but also to our speakers for highlighting the progress Labour Governmentās have made for LGBT+ rights, since we were founded in 1975.

The Childrenās Wellbeing & Schools Bill is the biggest reform to child protection in a decade. The Tories might talk about fixing education & safeguarding, but they had 14 years to do it. It's time for them to stop chasing the populist bandwagon and focus on making change for the better.

A new NHS Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) opened on Sheppey just before Christmas. This means the PMās announcement today about streamlining access to CDCs for patients, will have a big positive impact on getting waiting times down round here. Very good to see.

The governmentās white paper on devolution today is a welcome step. It removes yet more bottlenecks in the planning system. As housing is approved at the local level, fixing local government is key to improving the supply of housing.

Cowardly and dishonest position from Momentum. Any starting point to negotiation has to be an end to occupation. Russia won't accept that and has said so. Because it's trying to occupy Ukrainian land and dominate its people. For Russia, this is a colonial war.
