Event #battletech Aces can't escape BattleTech-isms. I'm playing my first game of Aces with my wife. We set up our force and start. The rules of engagement are to scan the enemy before destroying them. So of course we attack a unit and get a 12 to hit and a 12 on the crit hits table 🤦

I got luck and my FLGS had a copy of #battletechaces, so of course I ran and got and immediately tore it open when I got home. Y'all, a thread. Aces looks FANTASTIC. I read the rules (about 39 pages) and this is hands down the easiest to understand rulebook ever made

I think the next major improvement for #mechwarrior5 would be how the random missions are built. For example, they're done mostly well, but instead of spawning assets randomly across the map, I'd like to see some variation 1/x

I was able to finish #mechwarrior5 Shadow of Kerensky this weekend. Easily PGI's best work on Mercs and an excellent jump-in point for people new to the Clan invasion. Very impressed and looking forward to more DLC from PGI
