I’m mostly kind of amazed that Carlos Mendoza will be, at worst, the third manager fired from a heavily disappointing northeast area baseball team in 2026.

I played one (1) season of little league. In that one season of little league, I hit the ball in fair territory one (1) time, a meek grounder right to the pitcher. That pitcher, I assume, was not Paul Skenes. This would be the easiest $50K of my entire life.

On the plus side, at this rate, seats behind the dugout are going to be like $20 in August/September.

The worst part about the Mets offense being this shitty is that it probably makes Eric Chavez feel vindicated.
