God knows how I missed Evangelion growing up, I loved games like Armored Core as a kid. I firmly believe references and crossovers should be able to stand alone without prior knowledge and wish to experience it as such. I'll likely put it in the queue of stuff to watch after.

In FFXI, WAR had several -break weapon skills (shield, armour, weapon, full) to lower enemy stats with great axe. DRK also had the absorb line of spells to both buff oneself and debuff the enemy at the same time.
