It was primarily to add customization that I don't think the game will ever provide but are subtle. Asymetical sclera and void-like eye textures. More gnarly scars. Garlean eyes. But it just became fun to play with after a while to make more customizable ocs that were even less possible in-game.

5.1 was the first point I was caught up. Though it was rather late in the patch so I experienced 5.2 pretty close to it. Which meant the wait from 5.2 to 5.3 was my first real waiting period. And man, that was a story stretch to be on your seat for lol

Its grown on me. I didn't really have passionate feelings about the song one way or another when I first heard it. I was a bit confused by the negative reaction. Though, when it first came out the vocals got more to me on repeat listens. Now? I like it, I have it in my playlist rotation.

Not that I can think of any reason this would have a use case. But if you are ever REALLY broke in FFXIV and are on a no-teleport character: The manderville gold saucer rides are subsidized. You can take the airship to the GS for free anywhere. Then take the airship to Ul'dah for free.
