Dec. 6 is the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women, an opportunity to honour the 14 women killed in an act of violent misogyny in Montreal in 1989. Earlier this week, members of the SGEU Women's Committee took part in a candlelight vigil in remembrance of the lives lost.
