In theory I like the idea of having a monthly theme for oc art but the inspiration and motivation isn’t always there 😅

That being said, tentatively what I’d like to do is draw my girlie Elva in a small regency inspired piece (Bridgerton always puts me in that mood) then some valentines heart outfit for February & then hopefully I’ll finish my Qifrey piece for the WHA premiere. Still hoping to draw spellcasting too

I think this year I will concentrate on my ocs. Outside of fanart, I’ve usually draw new people for each art piece but there’s something special about drawing the same personal character multiple times. I especially enjoy the “put this character in multiple outfits” aspect ☺️

Unintentionally tried a new thing where I had a small personal piece with low expectations in progress at the same time as a larger, intricate piece. I started my day working on the small piece for 1-2 hours & then jumped to the big one. I think it helped me warm up & I’d like to try it again.
