If you had told me I’d wake up and see a senior tech recruiter doing a Nazi salute on LinkedIn, and that her employer who *checks notes* makes modded controllers so you can cheat in video games would be defending her… I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest. That’s the America we’ve got now.

I truly don’t get why people queue competitive in Marvel Rivals knowing full well that they don’t know at least 1 hero in each role. Unless you are the best DPS in the world, if you queue into comp and say “I can’t play tank or heals” then you are wasting everyone’s time.

Installed Unity 6 because I just can’t get past how much community content there is. Editor still takes 4 minutes to launch on high end hardware. Once godot’s 3D renderer gets better, I’ll be going back to my favorite game engine 😂

Just when I thought I had so many reasons to not do 3D in Unity, Synty drops sidekicks. Maaaaaan CMON

I wish more engine developers cared about developer experience. I like engines like Godot and Flax because they launch in 30 seconds, compile quickly or are interpreted, and aren’t bloated. Only issue is, they don’t have the community size and resources that Unity or Unreal do, which is a shame.

Can’t wait to start working o my next game project but I’m doing a ton of planning first

I think I’m going to try and build something in Godot using c++ instead of GDScript. GDScript is awesome, but it isn’t a transferable skill. Once you want to experiment with other engines, it’s always safe to know c++

I decided to continue working on my Halloween jam game, Witch’s Brew! People seemed to have fun with it, so I’m going to continue updating it, and hopefully I can put together something a little more polished for people to enjoy

I made my first dollar from Twitch today and it’s actually the most amazing feeling in the world. Having people hang out while I make games is such a joy, and I would do it for free, but this is a cherry on top!
