3️⃣ Avid is going to be 14 years old next Valentine’s day. So we’re entering those ‘difficult teenage years’. Wish us luck.

2️⃣ We changed our trading name from VirtTrade to Avid Games 6 years ago. We did this for many reasons - all variants on ‘VirtTrade is a really bad name’.

1️⃣ 14% of our workforce are Joes. Now obviously we aren’t Joeist - but if you apply for a role and your name is Joe, expect us to ask if we can call you Joey/Jojo/Mike etc. instead.

Right. So. I’ve been asked to share 3 interesting things about Avid Games. (Other than ‘we’re launching Wild Cards early next year’ - which is frankly the only fact that matters)

After a third rejection from Steam for using AI images we’ve given in, and now say we use AI images. Proving the non-existence of things is beyond our reasoning abilities. *sigh.* #gamedev #indiedev

Has anyone else been held up by Steam because they say you use AI Images, and you say you don't use AI Images, and then that just keeps repeating like an argument between five year olds? #gamedev

Holy Moly, I'm following 150 people already. I'd better say something. I'm vaguely responsible for 🌎 Cards, the Universe and Everything and 👻 Eerie Worlds. Both f2p TCGs on iOS and Android, with CUE launching on Steam NEXT WEEK! (Or when Valve approve it. Gabe may have other ideas.)
