Saw this poor rat in park the other day. I don’t know what k*lled them - maybe a corvid. Poison would have blood around the mouth. I felt compelled to give them some sort of acknowledgment in this world 🐀🖤🎨

Needed my fwens so badly today. I was feeling suuuper low, but a visit to park to see the pigeons lifted me so quickly / efficiently.

I went park after work today to feed the pigeons. As annoying as it was that there were people in ‘my spot’ feeding them, I had to take comfort in that fact 🥲 Others care too 🐦 Instead I went to the crow area, and without fail… the three arrived ❤️‍🔥 I simply stood & within seconds they arrived 🖤

A new friend / bartender gave us a homemade loaf of sourdough bread a couple weeks ago. I promised him a painting of his favourite animal - cat. I think this might be it for him… I hope.

As I was taking photo of worker cleaning, a little girl with her parent / guardian was so excited to see the dinosaurs, walked over to me and latched onto my leg. Not being used to children, I patted her head, and looked at adult for ‘help’(?) They giggled, we parted ways after a high five 🦖🤗💚

I think this ginger babe knows me from the pond, but found me in the secret woods - I think I recognise their feets. I adore how their moult makes them resemble a dragon or vulture 🐦🪶🐉

🚨‼️🔔 spider photos I am not great with spiders. Since arriving to UK, have had to learn how to capture & release house spiders - they are MASSIVE 🙈 This / these ones however, seem out of my capabilities… what do I do?!? These ones have kept to themselves, but their shape is scary.

Went Moco Museum by Marble Arch (London, UK) with friend today. Unfortunately had to walk along Oxford Street, but saw some pigeon loafs which made it better. Also Moco is well cool… worth a visit.

Vauxhall City Farm pigeons 🐦 There were several dozens of pigeons, enjoying the lush city farm life. I got the impression that they are a bit of a nuisance, but our instructor was kind to my affection towards them 💜

Spent afternoon at Vauxhall City Farm, with fellow colleagues on one of our “Volunteer Days”. It was the BEST day! There were also LOADS of pigeons taking advantage of feed. I even got over my fear of alpacas 😅

Trigger warning ⚠️ Matt and I were in park heading to quiet spot to feed pigeons, where we saw two teenage boys feeding them. We both had a bad feeling about it, and stayed around when we heard a “smack” - they used a slingshot and hit one of the pigeons. Matt went after boys, but no luck…

Went market this afternoon. Husband was buying oysters. I asked the oyster man if he was going to watch the footie final this afternoon, and somehow within a single sentence moved the conversation to cryptocurrency. Might have to avoid market for the next few Sundays.
