I’m directing a show, & I so deeply, deeply love this experience. My actors are phenomenal, just the best people. My crew is pulling it all together. It’s so thrilling to watch & I’m constantly stressed about everything but then I just have these moments of “ah, yes, this is why we do it.”

Today I had swelling in my eye. Not around it, the white itself was swollen. Just about scared the living daylights out of me. But the swelling has receded. My allergies really aren’t playing this year.
