I finished Lies of P last night! The true final boss was an absolute adrenaline rush! I love that this game rewards aggression and the combat is fluid. Very fun weapon combinations. The story, characters and atmosphere are inviting and magical. A visual feast and a delightful experience. Loved it! 🦋

As it is International Women's Day, I would also like to talk about something that myself, a lot of other women and AFAB people struggle with everyday. Endometreosis is a chronic health condition where tissue similar to the uterine lining grows in other parts of the body, including major organs.

I choose Selene from Returnal and the two women who brought her to life. Selene's voice actress, Jane Perry, and her model, Anne Beyer. Playing as such a strong, capable and complex middle aged woman was so refreshing and inspirational for me. I am grateful for the experience.

Dear diary, Lies of P continues to be a magical and dreamlike experience. This game has become my favorite Soulslike not made by FromSoftware and is a beautiful love letter. The combat is fluid and the visuals are enchanting. I look forward to seeing how this dark tale of Pinocchio ends. 🦋

Update: I bought Lies of P on Steam and successfully transferred my save file from Game Pass to Steam. Now I know from firsthand experience, it is possible!! The journey seamlessly continues! Thank you everyone for helping me figure this out.

Turns out it is leaving Game Pass soon and i'm wondering... should I just keep going and beat it on here, or buy it on Steam and start over so I have it ready for when the DLC drops? Thanks!

Dear diary, Lies of P is an alluring dark fairy tale. It is filled with mechanical terrors, glimmering butterflies and starry fantasies. The beauty of the game has been unfolding itself to me and I am entirely committed to it. I have found a weapon I really enjoy now. Very glad I didn't sleep on it

It just came to my attention we will be getting another Bloober/Konami Silent Hill! No news yet on if it will be a remake or a new installment in the franchise, but either way i'm VERY excited! As many of you already know, Silent Hill 2 Remake was my 2024 GOTY. I honestly regard it as a masterpiece.
