A grim reminder: these people will never be satisfied. There’s no point at which they will say “we’ve won, let’s enjoy life.” They will always be looking for someone else to punish, to revile, to dehumanize. They’re empty without that.

/2 It’s the Andrew Tate Presidency: an ethos of moronic bluster and chest-thumping meant to excite meatheads and losers.

I really wish all these people who want to be ruled by a king would just fuck off to a country that has one. Thailand’s pretty and has amazing food. They’ve even got lèse-majesté laws to stop people from upsetting your bootlicking souls.

Not everyone can fight Trumpism and Trumpists directly. But remember this: kindness, decency, and fidelity to American values are defiance in the face of Trumpism. So be kind, decent, and faithful, particularly to the many kinds of people despised and attacked by Trumpists. That’s revolutionary./1

So what Trump's lawyer is saying here is that Joe Biden could have Seal Team 6 take out Trump, and as long as the Democrats in the Senate don't vote to impeach him, then he would have full immunity for that action. Not recommending it, just saying...that's a weird argument to make.

Since places where these laws are passed tend to be run by sociopaths like DeSantis and Paxton, doctors’ fears that their good medical judgment would later be second-guessed are very well founded. That’s a feature, not a bug.

Elon Musk is a good example of the Rule of Goats: if you fuck a goat, even if you’re doing it ironically or to own the libs, you’re a goatfucker. Does Musk actually think Jews or ethnic minorities are sinister or evil or inferior? I doubt it, even to the extent he accepts other people as real. /1

The sad thing about Pence isn’t that his political career ended with a humiliating whimper. He deserves that. It’s that it ended that way because he did one thing that met the absolute minimum standards of decency and integrity.

I enjoy watching all these playoff teams twist themselves in knots about the Astros. (Every post season roster has a former Astro on it) Also Twins fans there are 2 2017 Astros on your roster, Correa and Keuchel. The current Astros squad only has 3 players remaining from 2017.
