Adore this grainy Polaroid of hubby and me from early 2002. We think it’s the first photo of us together; we met in November 2001. It also hit me today that I’m now closer to 70 than I am to 30. Growing old is a privilege but it reminded me not to wait to get done what I want to get done.

Happy start to the week: did 43 push-ups (in a single set), upping my previous best by three. Still way off hubby’s 60, but it’s a competition with myself anyway eh. Overall great session with Coach, too.

First swim, following a run, in almost two months while tattoos healed (and the rain stopped). Even the dry sand is cold against bare feet but the water is still surprisingly warm.

Last week I joined the current Sydney leather titleholders for a shoot by Rayveness Studios and I adore the results.

More than a decade ago I did an intense seven-month leadership course. One assignment was, leave every restroom cleaner than you found it. It was never explained to us nor were we asked if we did it, but I still do it to this day.
