Glade Geography #1: The Glade used to be massively populated with Electoons, whose job was to bring laughter and happiness to their Glade’s aura, but they slowly faded into extinction. Coincidentally, after the few last Electoons disappeared, Betilla “found” Rayman, who was just a pup at the time.

In the beginning, I envisioned the glutes with legs, cuz Globox having floating appendages just takes away Rayman's uniqueness. However, Lunar wanted their designs to look a little more faithful to the originals. Now, in their final look, they have really, really, hard to see, short stubby legs.

The original premise of Rayman Unlimbited was about Rayman transporting to another universe to seek the truth of his birth origin, only to accidentally end up in the human realm and get stranded. He would then have to learn how to adapt in a world where he’s the only freak. This didn’t work for me.

What’s the difference between our fan projects, and Ubisoft’s official ones? Ubisoft can blow millions on a game, or whatever, and it comes out looking cheap. Dedicated fans pour no budget into their work, and it ends up looking like a million bucks.

In Rayman's world, internet is inaccessible. That goes for streaming services, virtual helpers, drones, pet vacuums, smart phones, and potato chip flavors that aren't supposed to be potato chip flavors. This is what makes the Glade a very peaceful region.
