About 200 MB was being kept in memory per invocation, which would eventually overflow the JVM heap. I was able to bring it down to 100 kB, much better! Been really enjoying install4j and JProfiler for developing midis2jam2. Super powerful software—thanks @ingokegel.bsky.social and team!
