Why do you “have” to do something just because it’s the long weekend? My SIL has every minute planned out from car shows to gardening. Then I say I have no plans…maybe watch the Jays games on tv and she thinks I’m crazy. Like you do you and I’ll do me ok 🙃

Taking my daughter shopping today. She wants new clothes. Obv the weather change but can’t help but wonder if this has something to do with the boy that she “just has friend feelings for” but also a second date to go bowling with this week…🤔

Date went well. Fuzzy peaches, movie, popcorn, no moves were made 👍🏼 but they made plans for bowling next week! He is so cute. She is not sure if she likes him “that way” but still wants to explore this thing. She passed out early…”social battery” has been maxed out! We’ll keep an eye on this 💘👀

Ok it’s date night! He asked what her favourite colour is and candy. Do we think he’s getting her flowers? And candy? Will he try to hold her hand? Dare I say kiss her? (I hope not b/c she is stressed about that). One thing I know is awkward is that his sister can’t drive so his DAD is 😵‍💫

Thank you all for your birthday wishes! ❤️ I can’t believe I’m actually 50 years old. I honestly didn’t think I’d ever be this age. But heyyy I’m excited. It looks like every 50yr old I know is having a blast! Gonna be a fun decade! Here’s some highlights from my day (and Mother’s Day).

I’m going to my daughter’s last improv show tonight. She joined this group in grade 9. My shy little awkward girl found her people in this club. I’m sad this will be ending for her. It’s been such a pleasure to watch all these kids grow up and come out of their shells. 🥺❤️

I got this salmon oil for the cats (Freddie has really dry skin all of a sudden). I put it on their favourite treat…Freddie loved it and licked it all up…Sam turned her nose up and walked away. She is soooo picky!!!

Ok I just got inside info from his sister that he thinks my daughter is really pretty but he’s afraid to push so he’s waiting for her to make a move…she won’t (too shy). They are working together tonight. My older daughter is on project “get them talking!” 👀 I’ve met him-he is sweet!!! Stay tuned.

Apparently they sent an email to hubs after the first receipt I submitted. I didn’t see the email…😭😭. So it’s worse that this could have been avoided 😫

F this day. Ugh. Found out that the occupational therapist that has been working with my daughter is not covered under my insurance. So the $1,600 I’ve spent is now out of pocket 😖 & we have to find someone else. My daughter loved her and was just building trust & a solid relationship FML.

I have to go to an oral surgeon to get it pulled. Also, it’s infected so I’m starting antibiotics today. This will be my first wisdom tooth out! Luckily since its had a root canal I won’t need to be put out. But I’m scared 😫😭

While I was at the baseball game I hurt my tooth so bad. Not sure if I broke it or if it has turned into a big infection but I’m in excruciating pain. Dentist opens at 8am. I have to try to sleep elevated if I can sleep at all. Many meds have been taken. Wish me luck 😭😭😭
