I think I shared the video of the Cecropia Moth at some point but some photos just popped up in my memories. The face! It’s so darn cute. And the beauty of all of it. The antennas! The 6 inch wing span was breathtaking.

I just spent 45 minutes, maybe more, having to selfie photo Id match with my drivers license to pay my bills online. As I do every month, without this crazy. I had to retake a selfie (still cringing) about 10 x before they deemed it a match. And no way around it. I am beyond irritated.

These grackles just won’t leave. They are like the biker gang of birds.

It’s #NationalPencilDay …… I had no idea This is a dog portrait that I did many years ago for my then brother in law of his dog Jenny.

The grackles swarmed the bird feeder. I scared them off. Left some out on the ground for my sweet chickadees, red winged black bird and cardinals but took the feeder in. The crackles are ticked and making a lot of noise (about 12 of them) are all over the tree and they are angry.

I found this partially done sketch in an old sketch book. I have no idea what was happening or what it was meant to be about. It’s a titch unsettling.

Every single time I see the name ‘Paul Weiss’ it messes with me. I don’t know who he is but that was my old neighbor’s name. The one who I think was mafia or something and he always picked me up when I saw him despite telling him not to.
