Havage Be a Lord *is* going to have detailed sex and masturbation scenes on top of the intense plot and developing romance. No fade to blacks or vague 'they made passionate love' descriptions. I believe plot and erotica can coexist in the same story.

Amicus was raised to become an executioner, so he has a far more sturdy stomach for blood, gore, and death than even veteran knights. Considering how he had to behead stray/sickly dogs to become an assistant to his father (the norm for medieval executioners), he's accepted it as part of his life.
