Bad Vibes Only
Winning the league is probably the worst thing that could happen to arsenal fans. They always seem happier when they come 7th are railing against everyone and everything.

Watching The Testament of Ann Lee and whilst I love Seyfried, I can only assume that she went to the same accent coach as Daphne from Frasier.

It's very confusing to me that Eataly, an American company, is big in Italy. Surely Italy is big in Italy?

Not sure what's more irritating : M&S trying to trademark "picky bits" or Waitrose insisting that the '80s are where it's at with their "Rivals" tie-in snax.

My mum rang, putatively to wish my happy bday (it is not my bday yet) but really to talk about her holiday on a boat on the Rhine. Me: No-one came down with Hantavirus then? Mum: No, the rats kept themselves to themselves.

The plan seems unlikely to come from a Labour Party currently plotting to change leaders in roughly the way the Three Stooges come up with a plan to get through a door. The biggest threat to Reform is now... Reform.

Reform's biggest threat isn't another party - it's the clown parade in its ranks
The voters, it seems, don’t care about Reform's mistakes

Dropped a friend off at Liverpool st, then went for a mooch round Shoreditch and Moorgate. Doing le dérive is all very well, but sooner or later you come up against some large scale building works and then even Google maps isn't your friend.

Ok, so people don’t like Keir Starmer, but surely whoever Labour puts in is going to absolutely battered by certain parts of the media until people don’t like them either and they’ll burn through as many leaders as the Tories did before the next election

So why are you still following Newham news then, Dave? These people "move out" then complain "it's not the same as it was" - the same boomer cognitive dissonance (lack of self-awareness) as those who go to Spain because "there's too much immigration in UK".

Great night for the NOC’s even though the biased right-wing woke media gave them next-to zero coverage in the run-up to Thursday. Don’t remember hearing a word from their leader

Newham has gone from 100% Lab when we moved here (65 out of 65 councillors) to this strange state of affairs. Still 100% Tory and Reform-free though.

I’m voting Reform tomorrow because: There are two Indian restaurants in my village, surely they only need one. The council paid over £750,000 for flags rather than fixing the potholes. Yes it is a Reform council but I think the new Reform councillors will fix the potholes.
