"Creation of Elesh Norn" Happy to share this art, that I made as a commission to my friend. It will be a playmat as a present for a MtG player's BD. It was very fun to transfer iconic MtG characters to a classical art reference. Would love to do more similar big art projects!

I finally started inking my Creating of Elesh Norn piece. This time I'm trying a bit looser approach to inks and so far I like this more natural look. Hope I won't hate it at the end 🫠

Got a really cool commission from a mate to do an art for a playmat. The idea was to recreate Creation of Adam painting, but with Karn and Elesh Norn. Such an awesome concept but it really puts my skills to a test 😭

Finished a traditional flip-face tattoo design of Liliana of the Veil/Demon. Funny little designing challenge to use a particular character as a reference.

Did for fun a sketch of Liliana in the Veil turning into a demon. Originally I was going for Kothophed, but doing a flip-face there is not a lot of room for particular face details :-)

For the last several months I work almost exclusively on tattoo designs and tattoo-related art, so I felt almost scared to work again on ink art. But I think this art for dragon token came out quite nice 🙃

Did you even noticed how Aetherdrift came and went? Not sure if people even need Pilot and Vehicle token at this point. But I hope to get some new tokens done before release of Tarkir 😅

That was a cool project and a tricky design to pull of because of type and amount of text to put on a card. I brainstormed some designs based on Dark Pact's request and we proceed with it. My intent was to make it look like old poorly printed poster for a metal music festival or retro horror movie 😅

It's been a while.. in the meantime I experimenting with different look for my traditional design and here I tried to design poster for my local tattoo supply shop in the style of vintage poster, match boxes, etc. It is always hard to me to judge my own work, but I think it turned out neat 🙃

Can't help myself, want to draw traditional tattoo designs all day every day. They feel so natural to me 🦂

There is very little free time for me between day job and designing tattoos for tattoo shop, but I still trying to squeeze some work on my personal projects. So here is what I'm working on - Sea Lion. I browsed some books on heraldic symbols and found a lot fun ideas for art and designs :-)

Very stoke to be commissioned to design my first ever leg sleeve in japanese style. I pretty much never work with color, but I absolutely love this piece. There is so much design options in what seems very as very limited amount of elements.. 👹

Just got my pieces of metal tokens on hand, and oh boy, do they look crisp! I was worried a bit how my art would translate to metal, but I'm positively impressed on how cool they actually look. Sharpness of the lines is over the top! 🤯

I really love to do such smaller designs, where you bild up a composition around like three things. They are simple, clean, easy to read and works for a lot of things 🕯️

Last couple weeks were quite rough, but at least I think I found perfect materials for my traditional tattoo drawings - hot pressed cotton paper and acrylic inks 💀

When I decided to draw couple designs in traditional "spit shading" (I'm not actually putting brushes in my mouth, this is gross) I wasn't ready to dive down into the rabbit hole of different types of cotton paper, 6 types of ink, waterproofness of liners and so on. Cthulhu help me.. 😱

Another attempt on painting traditional flash designs. Still not 100% happy, experimented with another inks and using nib pen for outlines.

JFC, hate being sick, not a lot energy to do basic stuff. But anyway experimenting with more traditional stuff. Trying a lot of different inks for washes is something I like but when things not work exactly how you want is a bit frustrating. Especially when you have to redo piece forca third time 😮‍💨

Tried to recreate a traditional media in Procreate with washes. Think I found almost perfect brushes for the task 🏵️

I really love how it turned out. Still adjusting to a new texhniques, trying out different brushes and inks, but overall I quite dig a bit simplier look and roughness of it. It looks unperfect and hand made. This type of art I would happily hang on my wall.

Doing traditional tattoo design with ink feels so natural, like this how you should do it. Blends are smooth, everything working fast, shades are reach... I really love it,I could do it nonstop.
