New for Supporters: you can now optionally mark a list as "Unlisted". This means it's accessible via direct link (and on your profile), but won't appear on public listing pages like release pages, search results, etc. Thanks to RC user jd for the suggestion!

✨ Happy New Music Friday! Alongside today's fresh releases, you can now also see which albums are hitting 10, 20, 30 (and more) years this week – all ranked by popularity.

Quick little update: In the Users tab of a release, you'll now see if someone has the release in their "Top 5". Makes it easier to find people with the same impeccable taste as yourself.

NEW: You can now find all your liked content in your profile menu, conveniently called "Likes". You can also see others’ likes by visiting their profiles and opening the same menu.

Small update: We’ve added the option to go to a random release on lists as well. Even better, it’s now context-aware, meaning it respects your applied filters. So if you filter a list to only show releases you haven’t listened to yet, the "Shuffle Button" will pick a random one from that selection.

We are now officially live on the App Store! Same app as web, but better with native push, haptics, pull to refresh, and share menu support. Big thanks to everyone who helped out with testing!

We just updated our TestFlight app with a new Share Extension addition. Hit up the Share menu for any streaming link to automatically find it on Record Club. You can also directly use this URL: record.club/{STREAMING_LINK_URL}. Still in progress/beta!

NEW: We’ve added an external translate link to reviews, lists and comments that opens the text in Google Translate. The link takes into account the auto-detected language of the text and the language(s) set in your browser or OS. You can change when it's shown in Settings → Preferences.

Some smaller updates: 1) You can now instantly import a release right after it’s added to MusicBrainz, instead of having to wait 1–2 hours like before. Very useful for when Beyoncé drops a new album out of nowhere. ICYMI, here's the URL pattern for importing a release: record.club/%7BMUSICBRAI...

If you have the app, you’ll now receive a push notification when an artist you follow announces a new album. You can toggle this on/off in Settings → Notifications.

Happy New Music Friday! We’ve been busy these past few weeks making performance improvements across the app. It’ll hopefully be very noticeable when you browse releases, artists, labels (and soon, genres). Next up is some UI improvements, plus a new Home screen for the app.

New nifty little feature: If you find a release on MusicBrainz that’s missing on Record Club, you can now prepend `record.club/` to the MusicBrainz URL to import it instantly. Example: record.club/https://musicbrainz.org/release-group/586013b7-6cb0-39d4-b3cc-702b665fd830

NEW: We’ve added user-specific RSS feeds! You can now subscribe to all public activity or focus on specific streams like releases, queue, rotation, reviews, or lists, directly from a user’s profile page (next to the "Recent activity" section).

We've fixed a recent issue that caused users to be logged out unexpectedly. We're also investigating some performance issues. Should be improved soon.

NEW: Our search engine has been completely refactored. In addition to improved matching, it now supports: ✓ Typos! ✓ Alias matching ✓ Enhanced popularity ranking ✓ Faster indexing with reduced duplicate risk It’s also more efficient overall. We’ll continue refining and improving it moving forward.

New little nice-to-have feature that was suggested by one of our users: If a release is removed from your rotation before you’ve rated it, you’ll now get a toast notification with a quick rating option.
