Had the pleasure of helping out with a conservation project organised by the Species Recovery Trust yesterday. It concerned the very rare Cosnards net winged beetle. Also seen rose Chafer and speckled yellow @naturalengland.bsky.social

Some lovely finds doing refugia mat surveys at Snodhill Castle today. Lots of slow worm ( not a worm), grass snake and glow worm larvae (again not a worm) part of the Fortifying the Future Project supported by Heritage lottery.
