I've been a bit absent recently, but here are some stones to make us all feel ephemeral

A late moon scarred by cloud & the dark shape of a kestrel spilling on a wave of wind. Beyond the hedge, fieldfares snicker between trees in the gathering light.

Following the line of the beech trees again last night, leaning hard on the southerly wind; the trees roaring like a schooner in full sail, adrift on a pathless grey ocean.
