Trump’s order to deploy Texas National Guard troops to Chicago is illegal, immoral, and must be stopped by the courts. ICE is already wreaking havoc in our communities. Let’s call this what it is: an invasion by out-of-state troops coming here only with the purpose of tormenting Chicagoans.

We do not deploy American forces against Americans in our own cities. Our military is not trained for domestic law enforcement. It’s illegal and un-American.

Though Trump has historic lows on approval for a President at this point in his second term overall, white evangelical christians today give him a 72% approval. They don't care that he lies all the time, that he was mixed up with Epstein, that he bashes immigrants, and never goes to church.
