after roughly a week: - I can do on linux everything I did on windows - Krita looks to be a very servicable photoshop replacement (to be tested further) - DaVinci resolve looks to be a servicable premiere replacement for my needs - OBS is linux native and allows easy streaming!

Gave up on wifi and bought a 30 meters ethernet cables to FINALLY connect my computer to my router.\ Not disappointed with the results :D

so far it works pretty well! Two main issues are: 1) my wifi became incredibly slower...tried troubleshooting it for two hours, nothing gave. This isn't the worse, I intend to switch to wired ethernet soon. 2) I do intend to stream in the future, and huh...well that might not be the easiest-
