It was so nice to go to the movies (to see Hard Boiled)! I haven't gone in years and years. I even had popcorn! And a diet coke! And we saw one of my favorite kinds of movies! And wow! The little things are so good for real.

Went to go see Hard Boiled at the theater with @melissadominic.bsky.social and got dragged out by security for yelling "Kiss him!" every time Chow Yun Fat and Tony Leung are on-screen together

New year. Still thinking on this. Concerning myself more with finding more me rather than my place. Right now, I think, my place is with me. I hope the start of the year has been beautiful. If not I am going to make it so.

Went to see &Juliet yesterday. This is the building we saw it in: the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami.

I finally redressed Dolly Days Weekend last night. I think she's perfect.

Anyway, Today is another day lamenting that my Panasonic Shockwave Cassette Player is running a bit quick and hoping maybe giving it another cleaning will help slow it down because I am not super handy (just a little handy) and wish I could fix that about it...

@magencubed.bsky.social called me a Parking Lot Creature today and I think that was the most affectionate name she's ever given me ❤️

When asked what I was going to do today, I said "get worse" so I am updating my social medias as if I am going to make a comeback.

I wrote down in my journal "I am open to change" and now everything that comes up that requires a response I whisper "I am open to change" and answer with that in mind. I don't know if change is happening but it feels like it is.

I went to bed the other night and a thought popped in my mind: what if I just take off another year? My birthday is in 25 days.What if I take off another year, remove myself from the edges and just work on myself? I keep thinking I should connect with people but what if just another year? Who knows

Told myself I was going to be hopeful about September, but so far I've lost medical coverage for all my doctors (primary AND neurologist) and I am so damn tired I want to lie in a ditch.

Of course I want the Hobonichi A6 Hon in the Galloping Horse pattern. Of course I will not get it! I like the horsies, though 😭

I do often feel I want to leave social media for a while and not because it's bad and I hate it but because I'd like to come back and use it as a cohesive version of myself who actually engaged, cared, and had passions to share. Feeling very half in/half out for years will do that.

In case if anyone is curious, Magen Cubed is sitting right next to me - I promise she's doing okay 💕 I'll make sure she's taken care of (we made pasta and are going to watch cooking videos 💕)
