My kid had his first day of class today. He also found out today, on his first day of class, that financial aid runs Fall -> Spring -> Summer so this semester (which he’s required to attend) is not covered; it would have required an app from his senior year of high school. This entire process 👎.

Also: I've been (re) teaching myself how to draw. I'm not great, but can do ok sketches. I started with the intention of being able to better notice shadows/light, which is obviously applicable to photography. The main thing I've gained is that it's v relaxing to chill on the porch and draw.
