Another of my 38 favourites. When you are caught up in the daily grind, it’s hard to see a way out of it. Reactive works fills whatever void you give it, reflective/proactive work often requires you to carve out time and habits. Writing MORE tests might help. Or just give you more reactive work.

One of my main struggles in consulting has always been that I am not a natural salesperson. And I feel very awkward with casual networking selling. So my version is basically telling people I feel awkward and ask them to let me practise for five minutes. Will hopefully get easier with time 😂🥲

Ok so I think 2025 is the year I get serious about test automation. Someone out there who would either be up for being my mentor or my learning buddy? My (main) challenges will likely be getting past a decade of old learning, getting consistent and being patient.
