Hi all at #12inchtuesday. My offering today is this fine track from Dave Ball if#softcell. Back in 82/3 when Marc was with his Mambas, Dave started Other People before embarking on The Grid. He was partnered with wife Gini of The Venomettes and Andy Astle. They dressed as American tourists.

Not records but related , thought the #weekendsingles crowd would appreciate. Just clearing out my late Dad’s house and found these pop magazines from the 60’s. An early kind of Smash Hits I guess. Also a book of Lennon/McCartney music and Tommy Steele.

Morning. Here’s the first of my #3vinylrecords for today. Bit of a synth vibe. First up is Space with Magic Fly. A French band from mid to late 70’s. Love it. Years ahead of its time. Always thought it odd that another band had the same name in the 90’s.

Morning to all the #weekendsingles crew for #albumalmanac. I’m starting with a bit of #krautrock from Kraftwerk before they became electronica. This is a uk album from ‘72 that compiles both of the first 2 #kraftwerk albums. Love playing this loud.

Afternoon #albumalmanac & #weekendsingles a couple from #MarcAlmond that include additional singles. The 12” Hendrix medley/Martin that came with The Art Of Falling Apart is sublime. Kept Boy was supposed to be given away with The Stars We Are but was withdrawn after pressing only 500 copies.

Morning #weekendsingles and #musicsky . Then and now from me. Saw @tmbg.bsky.social last Nov and before the interval,they performed a song completely backwards and filmed it. It was incredible. During the interval they played the film in reverse and it was perfect! I managed to track down a copy.
