TV Viewing - I finally watched #kdrama The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call. Very enjoyable despite being a weird mix of high octane (yes, really) emergency/trauma medicine and hospital politics. Fancied another medical kdrama, so have started Doctor Cha. Nice to see a focus on an older characters.

This is huge. For years there's been a misconception that it's psychological and all in your head. We can already show changes in blood vessels, muscle tissue, etc. Now we see the genes that show ME/CFS disposition are NOT the same as the genes that show disposition for depression/anxiety/etc.

A study that is very personal to me, as a person with #MEcfs and having been one of the research participants. Findings suggest a genetic component to the disease. Linked with genes associated with immune response, chronic pain & more. #DecodeME #openacess #openresearch
