Finished Kingdom Come Deliverance 2! It's an absolutely fantastic game! Constant fun for the 104 hours it took me to finish it and the narrative is genuinely really good! Unlike the first game, this reached a satisfying conclusion, but I would still love to get a third game!

Steam sale started so I got Resident Evil 2 (and apparently the set on sale also included 3, so both I guess)! I'm tempted by Doom: The Dark Ages or something like that too, considering that they actually have pretty big sales and I will never buy a 79,99€ game for that full price.

I think one of the reason I've had problems with reading books for quite a while now is that some of the books I've read lately I did not particularly enjoy. Kazuo Ishiguro's An Artist of the Floating World was just boring for me and Yukio Mishima's Beautiful Star was like a weirdly dull fever dream

Also, I think I'm slowly gaining back my ability to properly focus and get actually invested in books again. I used to read much more when I was younger but smart phones, doomscrolling and endless dopamine loops kind of killed my ability to properly get invested in proper literature for years.

I finished reading Haruki Murakami's The City and Its Uncertain Walls last night, and for a book where most of it is veiled in strange metaphors and almost the entire story is just a giant allegory, it was actually surprisingly enjoyable to read and never felt too obfuscated or difficult to grasp!
