A consistent experience had by marginalized people who have been speaking out for years is that they said things were already bad and people didn’t listen until it was dramatically worse. Listen to people when they tell you their communities are in trouble or pay the price yourself

Increasing the ICE budget by 40 billion is terrifying. There is no other reason to do this than concentration camps. God how I wish the Dems listened when we talked about the dangers of letting these agencies continue to be funded while they had power. They just kept pushing to the right on this.

Israel destroyed over 90% of homes and leveled more than 20,000 buildings and over 50,000 housing units. It wiped out 22 of 24 water wells and disabled most of the water distribution system, cutting off access to drinking water for tens of thousands.

Israeli forces dismantled over 85% of the sewage network and bulldozed 320 kilometers of roads. They bombed 12 medical centers, 8 schools, and over 100 mosques. They also flattened tens of thousands of dunums of farmland and destroyed all greenhouses and trees.

The Rafah city and governorate don’t exist anymore. Rafah has been completely erased and destroyed.
