Someone asked me recently what they CAN do when they don’t know WHAT to do: my fav starting point recommendation is always, always your local library. Your library is meant to be a hub of your community. Folx there can connect you to groups that need your help, as well as groups that can help YOU!

Absolutely this!! Now more than EVER we need to start calling this kind of talk exactly what it is—racism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, etc. Stop allowing people to use the term “DEI” when what they really mean is something absolutely hateful.

Tina and I distracted ourselves from The Horrors for a while yesterday and instead decided that watching a riveting drama dedicated to the inner workings of the papacy was a better way to spend our time. The Horrors persist but at least the movie was good.
