Listened to the Geese record this morning - genuinely was curious what the hype was about. Can’t say I enjoyed it, having the ‘steely dan’ effect on me: music that’s produced well, tight songwriting but ultimately void of anything substantial. Like we get it white boy, we hear the vibrato.
