Poetry is important because it is serious. There is power in its earnesty. It takes a rock solid internal constitution to remark on one's own vulnerability. Humanity desperately needs more respect for sincerity. Lest it die in the shadows of dark humour and derision.

A "Thelemic" pasta recipe came to me in a dream last night. It was a Vodka sauce with the Alfredo symbolizing cum and the tomato sauce symbolizing menstrual blood. Red eagle. White lion. Very alchemy.
