Over three powerful days, Pacific Climate Warriors united across the region and diaspora to draw the line at 1.5°C. Our message was clear: 1.5°C is not just a number, it’s a lifeline. To hold the line, we need world leaders to end fossil fuel expansion and commit to real climate leadership.

To stay below 1.5°C, we must end fossil fuel extraction and consumption, and demand real climate leadership, especially from high-emitting countries. Fiji draws the line because beyond 1.5, our islands face catastrophe. For our people, our cultures, and our futures, we draw the line to survive.

Youth and local leaders in Kiribati gathered to plant mangrove seedlings along a vulnerable coastline, a living line against erosion and climate collapse. This act of care and cultural strength shows why we draw the line at 1.5°C: to protect our homes, our heritage, and our future.
