Another dreadful commute (cross country, due to the tragic events on the A46 yesterday), with broken down vans, closed roads which weren't on my satnav and a whole lot of guesswork. Got here at my usual time, despite leaving home a whole lot earlier. Urg. At least there were gooses to greet me!

There are no more terrible phrases which can be uttered during a visit to relatives and in-laws than 'Would you like a marrow, we've a real glut of them this year'. I, safe to say, am not a fan. Scarred by years of 'stuffed marrow' being an inexpensive staple of my youth.

Apparently Mrs Llama has decided she will be giving up chocolate for Lent. And she's informed me I will be giving up swearing. Well, that sounds like a load of groblocks to me! Join me tomorrow to see how many minutes I last...

It's official - first day the final 10 miles to work was in daylight. Thank the Maker, it's been a long three plus months of utter pitch black commutes. Driving home will still mostly be in the dark I suspect, but you can't have everything!

The odd fragments of the Winter Olympics I'm watching have been quite fun (not the curling, never the curling) and about 246% more interesting than the Summer Games. Not just for the higher chance of a spectacular crashes. But it helps.
