That Tesla earnings call was wild yesterday. 71% reduction in year over year earnings for Q1 is catastrophic … especially because it’s still sliding. I promise you every CEO is remembering today that the American public opinion of their product is something they cannot toy with. 1/2

So he had to back off firing the Fed chair Powell, and is beginning to lift tariffs on China because the market tanked again … all his billionaire buddies scolded him for losing their money. Not to mention what we’ve all done to Tesla, Target, Meta etc... 1/2

I had a new friend ask me yesterday if I wasnt just truly exhausted with all the anti trans talk & am I okay. You know what, that’s all it takes to check in on your trans friends. Yes it’s all a lot right now. Even if this all gets stopped in the courts, having the value of my life debated 1/2

I love it when intolerant people rant about all that they lost because people around them won’t tolerate intolerance. Like girl if you gonna die on that hill … you’re gonna do it alone. Far more often than people admit, that hill is really just you being a giant asshole to everyone around you.

Hard day today. I’m really struggling with depression and powerlessness. It’s the kind of day where I need to be quiet, think, feel, and remember that while my inner flame might be burning low, all it needs is some love and care. I’m not sure who needs to hear this, but don’t let your flame go out.

It’s been 13 years and once every 6 weeks or so I still have nightmares about escaping the cult I was in. I have a visceral reaction every time. When I’m stressed out, I have one & it shakes me to my core. cPTSD is awful.

Isolationism (America First (& foremost)) is never a workable strategy. The US was already the largest SLICE in the pie. What you’ve been sold really only ever leads to America on its own. Which only ever punishes the US, as we’re not a global market of 1. We’re a slice - not the whole pie.

I don’t do before & after transition photos often. Not because I don’t like showing pictures of my pre-transition self. I just don’t have many good ones. But this one from 7 years ago was good! Was also very fit as a last attempt at making being a “man” work. HRT does a body good though.

I went to a comms & media magnet HS. My video class teacher offered all 3 girls in the class the chance to go work on the set of a bra commercial for the day at Pinewood studios in Atl. He asked me to go because he needed a 4th & had a gut feeling it was somehow right for me to be there.

Holy shit! Meta has also stolen my wife’s academic books and articles and fed them into its AI. 🤬 20 years of her hard work & research stolen by Meta. To make it worse, she has always been adamant about AI ethics for just this reason. My book seems to have not been stolen though.

The Dem party has a group of fighters that they should look to for inspiration, not Establishment leaders. A group that never gives up or gives in, & keeps going despite the environment or the odds. They know how to get sh|t done. They know what it means to lose democracy and freedom. ⬇️
