Thanks to @gameravetv.bsky.social 's suggestion, I got the Sharkwire cart to boot. But the freaking keyboard doesn't work lol. the num/caps lock lights turn on when I turn on the N64 but nothing actually types in the fields. Not that it matters, I wouldn't be able to get past this screen anyway
