Idk why hand flapping is such an effective stim, but it really is such a great way to self-regulate. I'm so upset that it's a stim I've suppressed for years and I think I'm just going to stop holding back when I feel the urge to flap.

There's this pleasantly perfumed scent being carried in on the wind. I can't seem to place what the scent is, it's kinda spicy, floral and a little fruity. It's mildly evocative of spring. I'm enjoying catching random whiffs of it.

Laundry is honestly the worst chore known to man. Maybe the reason I generally prefer being nude is that it means less laundry to deal with. I'm hitting a wall in trying to get ready for FCL all because I need to do laundry but I can't find the motivation.

Was hoping to get laundry done today but my energy levels aren't compatible with that plan. Would be so much easier if I had home care services but my insurance determined those to be uncovered unless there was a medical component to them, (help bathing, med admin, etc).

Side note: I can still retain memory of some things, (such as dates that have meaning to me), but they can seem inconsistent, unimportant, random, nonsensical, or insignificant to others. I also have very little control over what gets stored as a retained memory.

I went from eidetic memory to memory impaction relative to developing CPTSD to pseudodementia following a suicide attempt. Now my memory retention is horrible and I have mental whiplash from the massive change. I still remember some things but nowhere near the level I used to.
