We come to the final weekend of shows for The Apiary by Kate Douglas. It has been a very cool show, we so seldom get to work on good sci-fi in live theatre. The lights, sound, props, costumes, set design all went about as hard as the budget would allow, and then some. Music release after!

I knew Kyle Fraser when we studied sound at VFS, and if you have ever played a modern Halo game you know his sound work. A really nice, talented dude.

Music folks, always read the manual for your plugins, and remember that with SO SO many plugins trying to be 1:1 analog emulations, a lot of plugins want to see a signal of around -18dBFS (0 VU/+4dBU) to hit their sweet spot. (And making your presets around the same level will save you headache)

Because to them "the economy" is the portfolios of the already rich. The people who trade invisible fake money all day instead of making things, or making art, or serving food, or fixing roofs.
